Well they tell me as a guide dog that it is a rough life. Maybe for some but let me see if I can shed a little light on this subject.
My dad and I just returned from a business trip. This included my master speaking Tuesday night to a group of high school students.
The minute they walked in there must have been 10 right off the bat that wanted to pet me. yep it is rough wehn you the star and everyone wants yourpawgraph and a little bit of your time!
After the speaking it was more time out on the grass and interacting with these high school students and then it was off to a night rest since the next day would have us flying home to Seattle from Spokane.
Upon reaching the airport and guiding my dad to the airline counter, it started all over again. yep there were two ladies behind the counter who wanted to pet me so I made it easy by walking right up on the baggage slot.
Then it was off to my gate but befroe you get there you have to interact wiht security.
Now I wear just a little bit of metal and each time it sets off whistles and bells, not to draw any attention to myself just a fact of life.
Now with all the whistles and bells ringing there was now a comotion fromt the agents as they were clammering among themselves as to who was going to get to pet down the dog.
This was over and off to check in at the gate. Upon our airline arriving and time for boarding I got to get on early. yep just one more rough part of life. As I walked up the stairs the flight attendants shouted out oh you are so gorgeous, so gorgeous and then they turned to me and said you are handsome also. As I continued walking to my seat the comments just kept coming and coming and my head was swelling just a little but life is really rough as a guide dog since I get to get on and off airplanes, interact with all kinds of people as dad speaks all over the world and yes if you want my pawgraph I can provide that for you.
Alrighty it is time to leave for now so just remember Wags to all and Wags for now!
