Christmas Tree

Wow did I have fun this weekend. All of the humans that live in this house plus the big guy who is away for college loaded up his little Toyota Corolla and headed out to the country.

Did not know where we were going but that was okay as I settled in for the ride. yep I stretched my body on the seat and had my head in the right position udner the drivers arm and life was good!

After a little while we pulled in and ddad dressed me with my harness and it appeared that there were many people here for some sort of celebration or something and I was eager to work.

Exiting the car and heading towards where we were going I started to smell it. yes the fragrance of the country which was soon over powered by this other smell. What is it, as all of my senses were now on overload. Oh yes it was those trees, Christmas Trees.

Then dad and the family were given instruction and we were off through the muddy fields weaving in and around trees, stumps and people. Then they stopped and announced this is the one! After a few pictures were taken documenting this activity out came the saw and soon it was lieing on the ground.

Then we walked back to where we started from. The really nice gentleman who asked if he could pet me and I obliged and noticed he was a dog person so I gave him a little more attention. The tree was now put in a bag and tied to the roof of the car and soon it was time to enter the car, assume the position again and ride back home.

Upon reaching home the tree which is suppose to be outside by my thinking was now brought inside and they are now decorating and asking me a dog who likes to sniff these type of things and sometimes lift my leg to stay away oh yes they are saying Arby stay, what fun is that.

Okay for the next little while the tree is in the house and I am not allowed to sniff or do what I do.

Okay now you know what I did over the weekend.

Wags for now!
